Collaboration for Education Development

On the 11th of February 2019, the ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University held an academic collaboration meeting. In this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sakchai Wongsekittirak, MD., Director of Thammasat Eye Centre, Former Chair of the Thai Royal College of Ophthalmologists and Dr. Valaikunya Plasai, Consultant to AIHD presided at the meeting. The meeting featured 3 presentations. Asst. Prof. Dr. Phudit Tejativaddhana, Director of AIHD presented on the new missions of AIHD, followed by a presentation from Prof. Bruce A. Wilcox, Founder of Global Health Asia Institute on “Thoughts on Health Development in for Thailand and ASEAN Region – in relation to the inseparability of environment and health.” Lastly, Asst. Prof. Dr. Cheerawit Rattanapan, HSD Doctoral Program Director introduced Ph.D. Program in Health and Sustainable Development (International Program) for the audiences who are medical doctors in residency training for ophthalmology.
