QS World University Rankings by Subject 2017 has put Mahidol University at the top in Thailand and 115th in the world for the broad subject area of Life Sciences & Medicine.
The university is ranked the best in Thailand for seven different subjects: Anatomy & Physiology; Biological Sciences; Medicine; Nursing; Pharmacy & Pharmacology; Sociology; and Theology, Divinity & Religious Studies. The rankings also placed it among the world’s top 500 for six subjects: Medicine, Pharmacy & Pharmacology, Linguistics, Biological Sciences, Sociology, and Chemistry.
The rankings are based on academic reputation, employer reputation, and research impact.
