Hanyang University is hosting the 3rd Asia Pacific Youth Exchange Korea (APYE Korea 2019) on August 18 – 27, 2019 at Hanyang University, ERICA and Seoul campus, South Korea. In partnership with Asian Development Bank, United Nations Development Programme and Urban Youth Academy.
This aim of this program is to improve young people’s understanding in localized Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) initiatives, by working with multiple stakeholders in local communities and in the decision-making process, selected youth delegates are given a unique opportunity to learn and hone the skills necessary to participate in Sustainable Development Goals related activities. The program will be attended by participants from various countries and agencies involved in established in 3 countries including South Korea, The Philippines and Thailand in addition to being a host for representatives from over 25 countries of Asia Pacific.
For representatives from Mahidol University, Thailand delegation led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Jongdee To-im, Acting Assistant to the President for Student Affairs and Alumni as an observer of APYE Korea Program and two selected students from Mahidol University as participants, Ms. Thanyastree Chayopong, Mahidol University International College, and Mr. Ninnart Ninnartnont, Faculty of Liberal Arts.
