On 18 August 2017, at the Office of the President, Salaya Campus, Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, Acting President welcomed Prof. Takuya Nihira, Director of Osaka University ASEAN Center, Osaka University, Japan. Also joined in the session was Assoc.Prof. Sittiwat Lertsiri, Dean, Faculty of Science. In this occasion, they had a chance to discuss on further collaboration between the two universities with a particular focus on the establishment of ‘joint campuses’ between Mahidol and Osaka, especially with the aims to develop joint degrees in the field of Science, Tropical Medicine and Liberal Arts.
