On 10th August 2017, Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., Acting for President of Mahidol University, delivered a welcome speech to new students in the event of “New Undergraduate Student Orientation for Academic Year 2017”.
The event was also joined by Prof. Patcharee Lertrit, M.D., Ph.D., Dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University, together with faculty administrators, at Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D. emphaised in his speech to new students that:
“Nowadays, we live in a rapid changing world and face with emerging new technologies. Many things are substituted by computer system, therefore, students should adjust themselves to learn new things. Another important point is students should have skills for knowledge acquisition, information literacy, and English language as needed before graduation. Mahidol University graduates are not only to obtain degree certificates but also to graduate with high quality for future self-improvement and contributions to the country.”
