The Faculty of Public Health (FPH) with FGS-MU, Thailand, Associate Professor Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Corporate Social Communication, Mahidol University hosted a distinguished delegation from Kathmandu University, Nepal concerning academic and research collaboration.
Associate Professor Prayoon Fongsatitkul, Dean of the FPH, along with Deputy Dean for International Affairs, Assistant Professor Kwanjai Amnatsatsue, Deputy Dean Assistant Professor Bunyarit Panyapinyopol and faculty members Assistant Professor Tassanee Rawiworrakul, Public Health Nursing and Lecturer Vanvisa Sresumatchai, Biostatistic, briefed the KU-Nepal delegation comprising the Vice Chancellor, Professor Ram Kantha Makaju Shrestha, Professor Rajendra Koju, School of Medicine Sciences, Dr. Lochan Rijal, School of Arts and Dr. Roopesh Shrestha, School of Management. Global health issues involving collaboration between the KU-Nepal and Thailand were discussed with future plans including a five-year development package covering capacity building for big data study, student exchange programs, teleconferences, visiting scholars, internships and research journal publications.
