Mahidol University’ s delegation led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thatchavee Leelawat, Vice President for Information Technology and Karnchanaburi Campus, and Dr. Mondhakarn Oprasertsawat, Vice President for Nakornsawan Campus, have been participating in the QS-APPLE Conference and Exhibition from 26 – 28 November 2019, co-hosted by Kyushu University, at the Fukuoka International Congress Center in Japan.
The theme of the conference has been emphasized on the changing roles of universities in the Asia-Pacific for the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Ageing Societies. This year Assoc. Prof. Panrasee Ritthipravat, Director of Artificial Intelligence in Medical Lab, Faculty of Engineering, has been invited as a penalist for sharing her knowledge and experience, as well as discussing on “What the employers want from tomorrow’s universities graduates? and What do universities think tomorrow’s employees need?“. Additionally, Asst. Prof. Thatchavee Leelawat and Dr. Mondhakarn Oprasertsawat take this opportunity to have a bilateral meeting with Prof. Masato Wakayama, Executive Vice President, Prof. Koichiro Watanabe, Vice President, and Kyushu University’s representatives to discuss furthering research collaboration and student mobility between the two institutions.
