Mahidol University once again placed in the best ranking position in Thailand by the latest announcement of Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2018


Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., Acting President of Mahidol University said that according to the recent announcement of the full result of Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2018 in its website on Wednesday 7th February 2017, this year the ranking table has expanded from 300 universities (last year) to 359 universities from 25 countries from the Asian region. The Times Higher Asia University Rankings 2018 remain using its 13 performance indicators in 5 areas same as the Times Higher World University Rankings, of which is given a different percentage weighting: Teaching (the learning environment) 25%, Research (volume, income and reputation) 30%, Citations (research influence) 30%, International outlook (staff, students and research) 7.5%, Industry income (knowledge transfer) 7.5%.
