Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University (FPH-MU) collaborated with Health and Global Policy Insitute, Japan arranged a short training courses entitle “Global Health Education Program”. Twelve undergraduate, three Master’s degree, one PhD student and 4 senior staff from various academic institutes in Japan and FPH-MU attended participated the program which began their nine-day, scheduled August 25 th to September 2 nd , 2018 at the International Public Health and Environment Training Center, FPH-MU. The purposes of the training are to link-up Japan and Thai students and to create innovative ideas for elderly health policy. Opening Day, Associate Professor Dr Chanuantong Tanasugarn, FPH-MU Dean warmly welcomed the group and Associate Professor Dr Mathuros Thippayamongkolkul, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Networking presented an overview of Mahidol University and the Faculty. This was followed by orientation, ice breaking, lectures and site visits in both Bangkok and Nakhon Ratchasima province.
