On the 29th August 2018, Assoc. Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Acting Vice President for International Relations and Cooperate Communication, welcomed a group of delegations from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP). In addition to Prof. Abd Rashid Abd Aziz, Director of Institute of Transport Infrastructur who was the group leader, Assoc. Prof. Jafreezal Jaafar, Dean at the Faculty of Science and Information Technology, as well as MR. Muhammad Azfar Bin Mahamed, Lecturer at the Department of Petroleum Engineering, UTP, also joined today’s meeting.
The major point of discussion was addressing about the potential possibilities of collaborations in many key academic areas between the two universities both at a university and faculties level. During the meeting, despite the collaboration being the main focus, the two parties also discussed about Student Internship Program, and UTP shared information about the establishment of the university’s Center of Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETaL). The meeting finished with the presentation of a token of appreciation.
