MUIC Holds Orientation for 210 Inbound Exchange Students

Inbound exchange students from the US, Germany, France, Canada, Switzerland, Japan and others attended an orientation to prepare them for their studies at Mahidol University International College (MUIC) in Term 1 of Academic Year 2018-2019.

Ajarn Brian J. Phillips, Assistant Dean for International Affairs and Networking, gave a welcome speech and provided general information to a total of 210 inbound exchange students during the orientation held on September 6, 2018 at the Auditorium.

On the other hand, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chulathida Chomchai, MD, talked about how to stay safe and healthy in Thailand.

The following day, the students were divided into two groups as they went on field trips to different locations they are interested in. The first group went to the Bank of Thailand Learning Center to learn more about Thailand’s economy. After that, they went to the Rattanakosin Exhibition Hall to get acquainted with Thai history, arts and culture during the Rattanakosin era. The second group, on the other hand, went to Baan Bang Pub, Samut Songkram province to know more about sustainable agriculture and sustainable economy.
