To celebrate more than 30 years of collaboration, Mahidol University – Osaka University Joint Campus was officially launched on 19 December 2017 by Assoc. Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Acting Vice President for International Relations and Corporate Communication and Prof. Genta Kawahara, Executive Vice President, witnessed by Mr. Hideo Fukushima, Miniter Deputy Chief of Mission, The Embassy of Japan.
On this occasion, Prof. Emeritus Dr. Pornchai Matangkasombut, Former President of Mahidol University and Former Dean, Faculty of Science delivered the “Background of Mahidol University – Osaka University Collaboration”,followed by the signing ceremony of Addendum for Joint Campus and the opening ceremony.
Our projects under Joint Campus will be establishing a Joint Degree Program between the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Tropical Medicine of Mahidol University and Graduate School of Engineering of Osaka University, a Double Degree Program between the Faculty of Liberal Arts of Mahidol University and Graduate School of Language and Culture of Osaka University and creating degree paths for joint international programs in the future.
