Mahidol University welcomes the National Vaccine Institute, discussing on the preparation of basic structures and supports for COVID-19 vaccine development

On May 13, 2020, Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, Acting President of Mahidol University, Prof. Wachira Kochakarn, Acting Vice President for Research and Scientific Affairs, together with Prof. Emeritus Sutee Yoksan, Advisor of the Center for Vaccine Development; Institute of Molecular Biosciences, welcomed the representatives from the National Vaccine Institute led by Dr. Kanchit Limpakanchanarat, Executive Board of the institute, Dr. Nakorn Premsri, Director of Institute, and the experts, including the independent experts in medical sciences and in vaccine, from other organizations consisting of the Food and Drug Administration, Institute of Biological Products; Department of Medical Sciences, WHO Thailand, Government Pharmaceutical Organization-Merieux Biological Products Co.,Ltd, and Global Tech Co.,Ltd., in order to discuss on the preparation of basic structures and the supports for COVID-19 vaccine development. On this occasion, they made a visit to Pilot Plant at Bio-Innovation Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
