Mahidol University jointly presents Virtual Field Trip: Wisdom and Innovation against COVID-19 in Prince Mahidol Award Conference (PMAC 2021)

On January 25, 2021, Mahidol University together with National Health Security Office (NHSO) presented Virtual Field Trip: Wisdom and Innovation against COVID-19 in Prince Mahidol Award Conference (PMAC 2021) through virtual meeting. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Prasit Watanapa, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, along with Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanuantong Tanasugarn, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, Asst. Prof. Weerapong Phumratanaprapin, Dean of the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Prof. Dr. Chartchalerm Isarankura-Na-Ayudhya, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Technology, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jackrit Suthakorn, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, gave a talk about fieldwork experiences and answered questions from the audience on online platform.

Additionally, the video of research, innovations and Mahidol University’s role in COVID-19 situation management as knowledge provider, and also as institution with immediate response to a new wave of the outbreak by the strong cooperation of faculties; Medicine, Public Health, Health Science and Technology, was presented.

Furthermore, Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, the President of Mahidol University, emphasized on mission of Mahidol University which is to apply the knowledge to solve the problems for the benefit of society, and mentioned actual practice is important.
