The Student Association of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) organized an environment conservation activity called “SMO Go Wild” at Ban Tham Sua, Petchburi province on June 23, 2018. There were 20 participants (17 current Student Association members and 3 Student Association alumni). The objective of this activity was to raise awareness about the importance of environmental conservation.
The activities included a special lecture by a local community leader about the objectives and importance of the “Tree Bank Project” and a workshop for making “seed bombs.” Afterwards, the participants shot the said seed bombs into the forest and planted some saplings in open areas.
