Visit of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) to Mahidol University

On 6th September 2017, Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, Acting President, and Assoc. Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Acting Vice President for International Relations and Corporate Communication, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jarernsri L. Mitrpanont, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, welcomed a delegation from the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Japan, led by Dr. Yoshio Tanaka, Director of the Information Technology Research Institute (ITRI). AIST is one of Japan’s leading research institutes and has close collaboration on internship student exchange with the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). This fruitful collaboration has led to the opening of the AIST-Thailand ITRI Satellite Unit at ICT toward the end of this year.
