On January 13, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Ph.D., Vice President for Global Partnerships and University Council, Mahidol University, extended a warm welcome to Prof. Simon Thompson, Deputy Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International), University of Sussex, the United Kingdom, at the OSM 2 Meeting Room, Office of the President, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
The discussion focussed on potential academic and research collaborations between Mahidol University and the University of Sussex, including the collaborations in the key areas of Health Sciences, and Humanities and Social Sciences. Additionally, the meeting also explored the development of summer programmes aimed to enhance language and cultural exchanges among students.
On this occasion, Prof. Simon Thompson, Deputy Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International), University of Sussex, delivered a special lecture titled “Guidance on Study and Doctoral Research in the UK.” This session was attended by doctoral researchers, undergraduate students, and graduate students of Mahidol University, at the OSM 1 Meeting Room, Office of the President, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
