On January 30 – 1 February, 2025, Mahidol University by the Division of Global Partnerships and the Division of Planning, in collaboration with CIFAL Victoria, University of Victoria, Canada, organized The Developing a Sustainability Mindset Training Program for Executives.On this occasion, Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, MD, FRCP, President of Mahidol University, presided over the event,along with Assoc. Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Ph.D., Vice President for Global Partnerships and University Council, delivered introductory remarks and welcoming speech to all participants. The program was honored to be attended by Clinical Prof. Emeritus Piyasakol Sakolsatayadorn, M.D., Chairman of the University Council of Mahidol University, together with Assoc. Prof. Soranit Siltham, M.D., as a distinguished guest to the program, Assoc. Prof. Sompop Prathanturarug, Ph.D., Vice President for Quality Development and Social Engagement, together with Asst. Prof. Thatchavee Leelawat, Ph.D., Vice President for Kanchanaburi Campus, Ms. Mondhakarn Oprasertsawat, M.D., Vice President for Nakhonsawan Campus Project, Mrs. Siriluck Kiewkong, Vice President for Amnatcharoen Campus Project, and the team of Mahidol University administrators from a total of 15 faculties and institutes. This event was meaningfully organized at the Dusit Thani Pattaya Hotel, Chonburi.

The Developing a Sustainability Mindset Training Program for Executives was organized with the purpose to support senior executives of Mahidol University on the exchange of knowledge and strategies for integrating the concept of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the benefits of education, research, institutional management, as well as community and social development. This program also aimed to enhance leadership skills in driving sustainable change within the university, while also applying the acquired knowledge to the university administration, planning, and policy development in alignment with the SDGs framework. Furthermore, the program aimed to develop mechanisms for measuring and evaluating Mahidol University capacity to achieve sustainability goals.

Aligned with this vision, this project is part of the strategic integration of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across the university executive and faculty levels, administrative staff, and students to translate the concept of Real World Impact into concrete actions.
