On May 1st, 2024, the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Mahidol University (MUVS), led by Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Walasinee Sakcamduang, welcomed a delegation from the College of Veterinary Medicine, Konkuk University, South Korea. The delegates from Konkuk University, including Ms. Yoo Jaeun (Chairperson of Konkuk University Foundation), Prof. Yoon Hun-Young (Director of Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital), and Asst. Prof. Han Hyun-Jun (Director of KU I’m DogNOR Blood Donation Center), visited MUVS at Salaya campus and attended a meeting to provide an overview of the college before visiting Prasu Arthorn Veterinary Teaching Hospital, the hospital’s blood bank unit, and Salaya Dog Shelter. Following the tours, representatives from both universities discussed potential areas of collaboration, focusing particularly on clinical practice, dog shelter projects, and blood bank initiatives.
