On 27th March 2024, Assoc. Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Vice President for International Relations and Corporate Communication, Mahidol University, welcomed Mr. Tharit Charungvat, Secretary-General, and the representatives from the Thailand Foundation. The purpose of their visit was to discuss the exploration of academic collaborations on Online Thai Language Courses, Summer Programmes for students and foreigners, and Religious Cooperation Programmes. In this regard, the Thailand Foundation also introduced the Fourth Expatriate Orientation Programme (EOP4), the programme which provides the essential overviews of Thailand to promote better understanding to foreigners on culture, arts, history, economy and others, by the Thailand Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting took place at the Office of the President, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
The Thailand Foundation is a nonprofit organization established by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to promote goodwill and friendship between Thailand and the international community as well as to explore areas of cooperation on the basis of mutual interest.
