On May 31, 2023, Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, joined the campaign of World No Tobacco Day 2023. Ramathibodi nursing students from the “Smoke-Free Society” club organized the Infographic contest on “Dangers of e-cigarettes” at the Hall, 1st Floor, Medical Learning Resource Center and Ramathibodi School of Nursing Building.
Associate Professor Dr. Poolsuk Janepanish Visudtibhan, Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing; Associate Professor Dr. Sangthong Terathongkum, Deputy Director of Physical and Supplies; and Assistant Professor Pichaya Thongpo, Deputy Director of Technology, Digital and Corporate Communication, Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, honored to attend the exhibition. Dr. Sangduen Piyatrakul, a nursing instructor from the Division of Community Health Nursing and “Smoke-Free Society” club advisor, welcomed the administrative team to visit the exhibition.
At the event, there was an exhibition and award-winning infographic presentations of students from Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, all four programs, about “Dangers of cigarettes and e-cigarettes.” Participants were faculty members, nursing students, and people who were interested.
Moreover, Ms. Aumsiri Srimachai, a fourth-year Ramathibodi nursing student, participated in the talk “E-cigarettes…youth well-being crisis” at Commemoration Hall, 1st Floor, Somdech Phra Deparatana Medical Center.
