On September 20, 2023, Associate Professor Dr. Poolsuk Janepanish Visudtibhan, Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, participated in the academic conference “Ramathibodi International Academic Conference (RIAC 2023): Taking the Lead in Innovation and Future of Medicine.” Professor Piyamitr Sritara, M.D., Dean of Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, gave opening remarks. Professor Sarikapan Wilailak, M.D., Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Culture, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, gave a briefing at the conference, and Professor M.L. Chagriya Kitiyakara, Head of Medical Innovations Development (MIND) Center, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, led the participants into the first session. The conference was held from September 20 to 22, 2023.
On this occasion, Professor Apichat Asavamongkolkul, M.D., Dean of Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, gave a talk on “How to manage work-life balance for the great achievement?” Dr. Somkiat Tangkitvanich, Honorary Member of Mahidol University Council and President of Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI), gave a talk on “Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare” and Khun Chatchai Navamongkol, Senior Manager of AIA Company Limited, gave a talk on “Sustainable Financial Planning and Management.” After that, Associate Professor Dr. Suparb Aree-ue, Deputy Director for Research and Innovation Management, and Assistant Professor Dr. Inthira Roopsawang, nursing instructor from the Division of Adult and Gerontological Nursing, Ramathibodi School of Nursing, gave a talk on “Centers for Aging: Catalyzing Gerontological Research, Training, and Community Partnerships” and Associate Professor Dr. Natthacha Chiannilkulchai, nursing instructor from the Division of Adult and Gerontological Nursing, Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, gave a talk sharing experiences in nursing innovation development for commercial use on the topic “Advancements in Nursing: Transforming Routine Practices to Commercial Innovation” under the theme “Creating Innovations: from idea to industry” which brought a lot of attention from participants.
The conference aims to publicize academic and patient care works in line with the mission of Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, with the determination to be a medical institution with international potential in patient care, including creating new knowledge and innovations for the medical field.
