Dr. Phibul Chompolpaisal, Dean of College of Religious Studies, Mahidol University and Dr. Maxim Voroshilov, Faculty Member, gave welcome speeches at the online academic event entitled “Mahidol University’s CRS Religious Studies Seminars”, in September 2023, in which Associate Professor Amy Langenberg, Eckerd College (Florida, USA) gave a lecture on “Laughing on the Roof: Female Buddhist Agency as Local in Lumbini, Nepal”. The seminar series is scheduled to take place on a monthly basis where international scholars in the field of Religious Studies are invited to give academic talks and presentations to promote a better understanding and knowledge of Religious Studies among about 166 students, lecturers, and interested persons joining the event.
