“Palliative Care Fast Track for Last Wish & Last Hour”
Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibdi Hospital, Mahidol University, held an academic online conference “Interhospital Nursing Conference by APN” with four institutions; Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital, Royal Thai Air Force, Vajira Hospital, Faculty of Medicine Vajira Hospital, Navamindradhiraj University, Neurological Institute of Thailand, and Bangkok Hospital-Pattaya.
The conference held via Docquity on every first Friday of the month (6 times).
The first topic of this academic conference was “Palliative Care Fast Track for Last Wish & Last Hour”
It is to exchange knowledge and experience between APN, alumni, and nurses nationwide, including techniques for palliative care. The conference was honored by APN Siriporn Semsarn, Professional nurse, Advanced Practice Nurse from Nursing Department, Ramathibodi Palliative care Excellent Center, as a main lecturer, together with APN Tipanetr Ngamkala, Professional nurse, Advanced Practice Nurse from Nursing Department Ramathibodi Hospital, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, as a co-lecturer.
Assistant Professor Dr. Nirobol Kanogsunthornrat, together with Lecturer Somsong Churaitatsanee, a secretary of Thai Nurses Society for People with Dementia, and Assistant Professor Dr. Orapitchaya Sriwannopas, Geriatric, Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, provided feedback.
The participants were registered nurses, nurse practitioners, advanced nurse practitioners, and nurse educators from institutions and hospitals, both public and private sectors in Thailand.
