The administrators of Ramathibodi School of Nursing warmly welcome the delegates from Japan for participating in the “3-Day Site Visit Program: Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) for Healthcare Providers.”

On January 12, 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Poolsuk Janepanish Visudtibhan, Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Atsadaporn Niyomyart, Assistant Director for Academic Services; Assistant Professor Dr. Benchaporn Chuengkriangkrai, Chair of Nursing Specialty Short Course Program in Infection Control Nursing and Chair of the Fundamental Nursing; Associate Professor Chonnamet Techasaensiri, M.D., Chairman of the Hospital Infection Control Committee and Director of Ramathibodi Chakri Naruebodindra Hospital; Associate Professor Darunee Chotiprasitsakul, M.D., Assistant Director of Ramathibodi Hospital; and RN. Thanomvong Muntajit, Head of Infection Prevention and Control Services, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, and her team, warmly welcomed delegates from Japan, including Shigeto Hamaguchi, MD, PhD, Executive Director – Health Security Osaka Institute of Public Health; Hiroshi Kakeya, MD, PhD, Professor, Osaka Metropolitan University; Reika Sakamoto, RN, Nurse Manager, Osaka General Hospital of West Japan Railway Company; Etsuko Ota, RN, Head Nurse, Certified Infection Control Nurse, Department of Infection Control, The University of Osaka; Yasuyo Okada, RN, Infection Control Nurse, Osaka Metropolitan University Hospital; and Satoshi Kutsuna, MD, PhD, Professor, Department of Infection Prevention and Control, The University of Osaka, who participated in the “3-Day Site Visit Program: Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) for Healthcare Providers.”

The objective of the program was to provide knowledge and understanding of Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) systems in both a quaternary-level hospital and a tertiary hospital, including policies, processes, tools, monitoring, control, and outcomes, as well as to enable participants to apply IPC knowledge gained to effectively develop IPC systems in their own institutions.

The event took place at Room 423, 4th Floor, Medical Learning Resource Center and Ramathibodi School of Nursing Building
