MUIC-INT Event Links Startups with Industry Partners

Mahidol University International College (MUIC) in collaboration with the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management (INT), Mahidol University, hosted the MU InnoMatch: Matching Solutions with Needs event on February 19, 2026 at the Charinyarasami Room, Aditayathorn Building.

The initiative aimed to showcase innovative ventures by startups from Mahidol University to the college’s extensive business network, while providing students with valuable insights from real-world entrepreneurial experiences and impact-driven innovations through interactive dialogue and practical business challenges.

The event was honored by the presence of Asst. Prof. Dr. Patsarin Rodpothong Wongkamhang, Associate Dean for Strategic Planning and Quality Development at MUIC, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Viriya Taecharungroj, Director of INT, who delivered the opening remarks.

The program featured pitching sessions from seven startup teams participating in the Mahidol Incubation Program 2025, followed by a special panel discussion entitled, “From Lab to Market: What University Startups Lack and How the Business Sector Can Fill the Gap,” exploring perspectives and strategies for commercializing research-based innovations.

The event also included Business Matching activities, creating opportunities for alumni, parents, and innovation-focused entrepreneurs to network and explore potential business collaborations—strengthening ongoing relationships between these networks and the college. Additionally, MUIC faculty members may identify opportunities to provide consultation or co-develop products and services with startup teams, effectively bridging academic expertise with practical applications to create mutual value.
