On 20 February 2026, Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Ph.D., Vice President for Global Partnerships and University Council, Mahidol University, welcomed a delegation of executives from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Commonwealth of Australia. The delegation was led by Distinguished Prof. Alaina Ammit, Interim Pro-Vice Chancellor and Associate Dean (Research), Faculty of Science, and Prof. Angela Dawson, Associate Dean (Research), Faculty of Health. The meeting was held at the Khunying Patama Leeswadtrakul Meeting Room, 5th Floor, Office of the President, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
During the visit, both parties discussed strengthening research and academic collaboration to enhance opportunities for doctoral students, as well as expanding academic partnerships across various disciplines to further develop a joint academic network between the two institutions.
Mahidol University and the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) are both members of the Worldwide Universities Network (WUN). This meeting marks another significant milestone in broadening academic collaboration and reinforcing a sustainable strategic partnership between the two universities.
