On Friday, 9 January 2026, Mahidol University, through the Global Partnerships Division, welcomed a delegation, from Curtin University, Australia at the Office of the President, 2nd floor, Salaya Campus, to discuss future academic collaboration and partnership development.
The Curtin University delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Xiaotian Zhang, Vice-Chancellor Global, together with Ms. Kimberly Tritton, Director, Global Future Students. The meeting was hosted by Assoc. Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, PhD, Vice President for Global Partnerships and University Council.
Discussions focused on academic collaboration to strengthen the existing partnership as well as extending cooperation into new forms. These include organizing a joint alumni homecoming event, proposing the English language programs to support student preparedness, establishing the joint academic programs, and exploring opportunity for expanding collaboration into new disciplines, particularly in the field of health sciences which will enhance future partnership development between the two institutions.
