Mahidol University Launches “Sawasdee Thailand Summer Program 2025” (Batch B) to Foster Global Cultural Exchange

On 1 July 2025, the Global Partnerships Division of Mahidol University hosted the opening ceremony for the “Sawasdee Thailand Summer Program 2025” (Batch B) at Room 411, Mahidol Learning Center, Salaya Campus. The event was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Vice President for Global Partnerships and University Council, Mahidol University. A warm welcome address was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Isabel Pereira Rodrigues, Program Advisor from Mahidol University International College.

The program welcomes 26 students from Mahidol’s partner institutions, including Ming Chi University of Technology and National Chengchi University (Taiwan); Mulawarman University, Universitas Riau, Bandung Institute of Technology, Universitas Indonesia, IPB University, Brawijaya University, and University of Sumatera Utara (Indonesia); Nanchang University (China); Kagawa University (Japan); University of Sussex and University of Reading (United Kingdom); National University of Singapore (Singapore); and Mahidol University Kanchanaburi Campus (Thailand).

Held from 1 to 14 July 2025 under the theme “Sustainable Economics and Corporate Responsibility,” the program aims to promote cross-cultural understanding, foster international friendships, and deepen global perspectives on Thai society through a combination of academic and experiential learning.

As part of the program, a study trip will take place on 7–8 July 2025 in collaboration with Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus, Chonburi Province. This trip will offer participants valuable insights into Thailand’s practices in sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
