On November 3, 2025, Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, conducted the second assessment under “The Training and Preparation for the 3rd WorldSkills Asia Competition”, WorldSkills Asia Taipei 2025, to assess the nursing competencies and build confidence in Ms. Chayanit Seesawatpen, a third-year nursing student from the Bachelor of Nursing Science Program at Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, who serves as a youth representative of Thailand joining the competition in the Health and Social Care skill category.
Associate Professor Dr. Suchira Chaiviboontham, Deputy Director for Administration and representative of Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, presided over the event. Instructor Dr. Jiraporn Lininger, Deputy Director for International Relations and Project Leader presented the training progress results. Associate Professor Dr. Sangthong Terathongkum, an instructor in the Division of Community Health Nursing also joined the event. The assessment committee comprised Assistant Professor Dr. Sumolchat Duangbubpha, Deputy Director for Learning Support and Nursing Professional Development; Assistant Professor Dr. Sirirat Leelacharas, instructor in the Division of Adult and Gerontological Nursing; and Dr. Ratchanok Phonyiam, WorldSkills expert and instructor in the Division of Community Health Nursing, Ramathibodi School of Nursing.
On this occasion, the executive team from the SCG Foundation, led by Ms. Suvimol Chivaluk, Director and Manager of the SCG Foundation; Ms. Chutipun Sermswatsri, Head of Partnership Engagement; Mr. Pranyu Jutasuntikul, Head of Education Empowerment; and Ms. Tianwan Chirawate, Manager – Potential Enhancement, together with Ms. Pacharasuda Podiarn, Director of the Skill Standards Promotion Division (Director of the Competition Group); a representative of the Director-General of the Department of Skill Development; and other executives attended the event to observe the training and offer their encouragement to the youth representative. A team from the Thai Public Broadcasting Service (Thai PBS) recorded footage and conducted interviews with the administrators, the expert, and the youth representative from Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University.
