On May 3, 2025, Dr. Saowaros Kongcheep, Assistant Dean for Cooperation between Education and Nursing Services of Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Instructor from the Division of Adult and Gerontological Nursing, Program Chair and representative of the Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, presided over the opening ceremony of the project. Dr. Jantra Keawpugdee, an Instructor from the Division of Community Health Nursing and Program Committee Member, along with Dr. Suthep Thuraphun, Head of Academic Service and Program secretary, participated in the event, which was held at the Nong Takhian Meeting Room, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province.
During the event, LCdr. Kanokporn Somtrakul, Batch 5 President, delivered a report on the objectives of the project to promote a good quality of life for the elderly in Sattahip district in terms of health, mind, life skills, and participation in society, including being able to take better care of their health and be happy in life.
The project includes several activities, including primary health screenings, educational sessions on fall prevention and precautions, information on common eye diseases in the elderly, brain training exercises to help prevent dementia, guidance on nutrition for the elderly, basic life support training, and other recreational activities. The activities aim to enhance the participants’ happiness and quality of life.
