Associate Professor Dr. Poolsuk Janepanish Visudtibhan, Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, together with Instructor Dr. Jiraporn Lininger, Deputy Director for International Relations and Program Chair of the Master of Nursing Science Program (International Program), participated in the “SIGMA: 36th International Nursing Research Congress” organized by The Sigma Theta Tau International (SIGMA) under the theme “Representing Nursing Globally Through Dissemination of Research and Evidence.” The event aimed to enhance international nursing research publication and improve the standards of the nursing profession from July 17 to 20, 2025.
The event took place in Seattle, Washington, USA, and was attended by over 800 executives, researchers, nursing faculty, students, and healthcare professionals from institutions worldwide. On this occasion, faculty and students from Ramathibodi School of Nursing presented academic work, led by Professor Dr. Noppawan Piaseu, Deputy Dean for Health Promotion and Instructor from the Division of Community Health Nursing, Ramathibodi School of Nursing; Ms. Wasana Srisuk, a student from the Master of Nursing Science Program in Community Nurse Practitioner; and Ms. Phatcharaphon Whaikid, a student from the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Nursing Science (International Program). Dr. Siriphorn Na Nakorn, an instructor from the Division of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, and Dr. Arissara Sawatpanich, an instructor from the Division of Maternal Newborn Nursing and Midwifery, also presented their academic work, which was supported by a grant from Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University.
The conference aimed to elevate the quality of the nursing profession at an international level, promote academic collaboration, exchange knowledge, foster innovation, and advance technology through research presentations. It also aimed to foster international networks and partnerships to connect institutions and participants from around the world.
