On November 12, 2025, first-year students of the Master of Nursing Science Program (International Program) of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, conducted a study visit to the Short-Term Treatment and Chemotherapy Unit 2, Support Patient Care Nursing Section at Somdech Phra Debaratana Medical Center, as part of the course RANS 705: Health Care Policy and Leadership.
The purpose of this study visit was to enable students to learn about ward and staff management, nursing leadership, the application of nursing innovations in service delivery, and the management of health services within a unit, based on field experience in a healthcare setting. The study visit was honored by Ms. Yaowarat Chantraporn (Head of the Short-Term Treatment and Chemotherapy Unit 2), Ms. Saowalak Saengchanchai, and Ms. Jirarat Choonui (staff nurses of the unit), who provided lectures and led the ward visit.
The study visit was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Jantra Keawpugdee, an instructor in the Community Health Nursing Division at Ramathibodi School of Nursing.
We would like to express our gratitude to the Short-Term Treatment and Chemotherapy Unit 2 for their warm welcome and the knowledge they shared, which significantly enhanced the nursing leadership potential of students in the Master of Nursing Science (International Program).
