On December 16, 2025, Clinical Professor Artit Ungkanont, M.D., Dean of Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, graciously presided over the ceremony, lit incense sticks and candles to worship the Triple Gem, as well as lit the chapter candle, and served as a host for Chapter 1. Associate Professor Dr. Poolsuk Janepanish Visudtibhan, Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, served as a host for Chapter 5, and Associate Professor Jumroon Tungkeeratichai, M.D., Chair of Ramathibodi Senate, delivered the formal report and served as a host for Chapter 6. Associate Professor Dr. Suchira Chaiviboontham, Deputy Director for Administration of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, served as a host for Chapter 4, and Professor Dr. Noppawan Piaseu, Deputy Dean for Health Promotion, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital and Instructor in the Division of Community Health Nursing, served as a host for Chapter 13.
Assistant Professor Pichaya Thongpo, President of Rama Nurse Alumni, lit the chapter candle and served as a host for Chapter 9. Associate Professor Dr. Bualuang Sumdaengrit, an Instructor in the Division of Adult and Gerontological Nursing, served as a host for Chapter 10. Associate Professor Dr. Sangthong Terathongkum, an Instructor in the Community Health Nursing Division, served as a host for Chapter 7.
The Dhamma sermon was delivered by Phra Kru Vinaitorn Kittisak and Assistant Abbot from Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram Rajwaramahawihan and the monastic order.
Administrators, faculty members, students, and staff of the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, as well as the general public, attended and co-hosted the Mahajati Preaching, 13 chapters of Mahavessantara Jataka, 1,000 verses.
The event was organized to raise funds for the “Ramathibodi Nursing Student Dormitory Renovation Project, Salaya Campus,” aimed at improving the dormitory to ensure safety and enhance the learning environment, thereby supporting the development of future nurses for society.
