On June 9, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Poolsuk Janepanish Visudtibhan, Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, MahidolUniversity, presided over the opening ceremony of the online training titled “Development of Teaching Competencies for Nurses” and delivered lectures on “Policies, Concepts, Characteristics, and Roles of Nurse Preceptors: Current and Future Expectation, Professional and Personal Development of Nurse Preceptors,” and “Clinical Consultation Meetings: Pre– and Post– Conferences” via Zoom Meeting.
During the event, Assistant Professor Dr. Streerut Thadakant, Chair of the Division of Maternal Newborn Nursing and Midwifery and Assistant Dean for Education at Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, MahidolUniversity, delivered a lecture on “Bachelor’s Degree Qualification Standards in Nursing: Implementation in Clinical Education” and “Practicum Management in the Bachelor of Nursing Science Program and the Expected Competencies.” Assistant Professor Dr. Sumolchat Duangbubpha, Deputy Director for Learning Support and Nursing Professional Development, delivered a lecture on “Bedside Teaching and Nursing Rounds.” Dr. Piyawadee Thongyost, Assistant Director for Corporate Communication and Instructor from the Division of Adult and Gerontological Nursing, served as the event moderator. Faculty members of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, and external experts participated as guest lecturers to share insights on the healthcare system, the nursing process, lesson planning, and instructional principles for real-life situations, including the selection of appropriate teaching methods for both clinical and community settings for students, using assessment tools for evaluating learning outcomes.
Registered nurses, nurse practitioners, nurse educators, and advanced practice nurses from hospitals, organizations, and nursing education institutions from public and private sectors across Thailand attended and showed great interest in participating.
