A select group of students from University College London (UCL), ranked 9th globally, recently completed a highly successful short study program at Mahidol University International College (MUIC) in Thailand.
Chosen from an impressive 199 applicants, these 16 undergraduate students received full scholarships based on their diverse backgrounds, providing an invaluable opportunity for those who might not otherwise have had the chance to experience an international study program.
During their week-long immersion from June 15 to 21, 2025, the UCL students delved into Thai business practices and culture organized and led by the Project Development Unit (PDU) in collaboration with the Business Administration Division and Humanity and Language Division. The itinerary included insightful company visits, engaging Thai cultural activities, and practical Thai language lessons. A key highlight was the chance to interact with MUIC students who worked as teaching assistants for the program, fostering a rich cross-cultural exchange.
Feedback from the participants has been overwhelmingly positive, with many describing it as a “life-changing experience.” This program truly exemplifies the power of international collaboration in expanding horizons and providing unique educational opportunities.
