On 24–25 August 2025, Assoc. Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Ph.D., Vice President for Global Partnerships and University Council at Mahidol University, attended the closing ceremony of the “Thai–Chinese Youth Ambassador Camp: Rooted in Heritage, Moving Forward for a Sustainable Shared Future” at the Royal Thai Embassy in Beijing, People’s Republic of China. She was joined by Asst. Prof. Dr. Romyen Kosaikanont, Vice President of Mae Fah Luang University (main host), and Asst. Prof. Dr. Thakerng Wongsirichot, Vice President of Prince of Songkla University (co-host).
The camp was organized to commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and the People’s Republic of China. It aimed to nurture future leaders through academic learning, field activities, and rich cultural exchanges. The closing ceremony was honored by the presence of Mr. Varapote Chensavasdijai, Minister, and Ms. Pasupha Chinvarasopak, Minister Counsellor for Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI), who both delivered inspiring remarks to the participants.
On this occasion, students presented their projects under the Thailand–Yunnan cooperation framework. University executives from the three institutions provided constructive feedback to help the students further develop their initiatives. The event concluded with a warm farewell reception, highlighting the friendship and sustainable collaboration between the two nations.
