On August 20, 2025, Mahidol University, represented by Assoc. Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Ph.D., Vice President for Global Partnerships and University Council, Mahidol University, welcomed a delegation from the University of Reading, United Kingdom, to discuss opportunities for broad academic cooperation.
The visiting delegation included Prof. May Tan-Mullins, Provost and CEO of University of Reading Malaysia (UoRM) Ms. Elizabeth Allen, Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor Internationalization; Prof. Elena B Spasova, Dean of Henley Business School; and Dr. Lamma Zghoul, Senior Global Partnerships Manager. They introduced UoRM, the university’s international branch campus, and explored opportunities for student and faculty exchanges, knowledge sharing, and joint academic activities with Mahidol University.
Further discussions involved leadership from specific colleges. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prattana Punnakitikashem, Dean, College of Management, and Assoc. Prof. Dale Alan Konstanz, Associate Dean for International Affairs at Mahidol University International College, met with the delegation to explore concrete pathways for future research collaboration. They also discussed student mobility programs in international business and a potential summer exchange program at the International College.
