On August 28, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Ph.D., Vice President for Global Partnerships and University Council, at Mahidol University, warmly welcomed a delegation from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya, Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka at the Dr. Somsak Leeswadtrakul Meeting Room, Office of the President Building, Salaya Campus, Mahidol University.
The delegation was led by Professor Nirmala Perera, Professor of Forensic Medicine, along with Dr. Lathika Athauda, Head and Senior Lecturer; Dr. Pavithra Godamunne, Head and Senior Lecturer; Dr. Roshitha de Silva, Senior Lecturer; and Mr. Kishan Wasala, Staff Technical Officer.
During the visit, the two institutions discussed academic collaboration, including the recently conducted “Capacity Building Program in Public Health Education, Research, and Quality Assurance” hosted by the Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University. They also explored future online training initiatives in the fields of medicine and public health.
