Mahidol University, Kanchanaburi Campus Participates in “Kanchanaburi City of Film 2025” Event Toward Becoming a UNESCO Creative City of Film

On June 20, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Thatchavee Leelawat, Vice President for Kanchanaburi Campus, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Amnat Jareret , Assistant to the Vice President for Kanchanaburi Campus, and staff members, attended the opening ceremony and set up an exhibition booth at the “Kanchanaburi City of Film 2025 – Toward Becoming a UNESCO Creative City of Film” event.The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Atisak Inthra, Governor of Kanchanaburi Province.The event, held from June 20–22, 2025, was organized by the Kanchanaburi Provincial Cultural Office in collaboration with government and private sector partners. It aims to promote tourism and economic development in Kanchanaburi and to advance the province’s goal of becoming a UNESCO Creative City in the field of film.
The event took place at the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne Pavilion, in front of the Songkwae Skywalk, Mueang District, Kanchanaburi Province.
