On April 3, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Poolsuk Janepanish Visudtibhan, Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, presided over the opening of the online academic conference on “Ethical and Legal Dilemma in Nursing” via the Zoom meeting platform.
The event was honored by medical doctors from Gayla Rajanagarindra Institute, Department of Mental Health, Ministry of Public Health of Thailand, along with Assistant Secretary of the Medical Council of Thailand, Board members of Thailand Nursing and Midwifery Council, Head Nurse of Wang Noi Hospital, Nurse instructors from the Division of Community Health Nursing, Ramathibodi School of Nursing, and the Nursing Services Division of Ramathibodi Hospital, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, as speakers to provide knowledge and understanding, as well as to exchange up-to-date knowledge regarding laws related to nurses’ primary medical care, the analysis of ethical and legal risk issues associated with nursing practice. The event took place from April 3 to 4, 2025.
Registered nurses, nurse practitioners, advanced practice nurses, and nurse educators from public and private sectors and educational institutions across Thailand attended and showed great interest in participating.
