On February 13, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Poolsuk Janepanish Visudtibhan, Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, presided over the opening of the academic conference titled “Advancing Stroke Care Best Practices: A Collaboration Between Ramathibodi School of Nursing and Thainakarin Hospital” for registered nurses from Thainakarin Hospital. The conference was held from February 13 to 14, 2025. Assistant Professor Dr. Jumpee Granger, Deputy Director for Research and Nursing Innovation, and Instructor Dr. Atsadaporn Niyomyart, Assistant Director for Academic Service, also participated in this academic event.
On this occasion, Dr. Narong Jongaramrueng, Assistant Hospital Director for Human Resources at Thainakarin Hospital, delivered a welcoming speech and co-opened the conference. The conference featured lectures from medical faculty from the Department of Medicine, Advanced Practice Nurses from Ramathibodi Hospital, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, and nursing faculty from Ramathibodi School of Nursing. Additionally, medical faculty and advanced practice nurses from Thainakarin Hospital participated as speakers to share knowledge, insights, and exchange current understanding of stroke. This was aimed at equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to provide appropriate and safe care for stroke patients, while also ensuring an understanding of international standards in stroke care to maintain the highest level of quality and efficiency. The conference attracted significant participation from registered nurses at Thainakarin Hospital.
