On March 26, 2025, Mahidol University International College celebrated the 39th anniversary of Mahidol University International College’s establishment, and launched a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) innovation for digital learning. In this regard, Assoc. Prof. Sittiwat Lertsiri, Ph.D., Vice President of Mahidol University, together with Prof. Chulathida Chomchai, M.D., Dean of Mahidol University International College (MUIC), Assoc., Prof. Dr. Yingyot Chiaravutthi, Associate Dean, Mahidol University International College (MUIC), Asst. Prof. Sarawoot Watechagit, Ph.D., Director of Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center, Mahidol University, and the executive team of Mahidol University International College, participated in the homage ceremony at Phor Khun Thung Shrine, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
The morning session began with a merit-making ceremony, where participants paid homage to Phor Khun Thung Shrine, a revered sacred site within Mahidol University’s Salaya campus, followed by a religious ceremony officiated by nine Buddhist monks at the Ground Floor, MUIC Building 1.
Afterwards, Mahidol University International College launched the latest Artificial Intelligence (AI) innovation, named as “AI Copter,” an advanced artificial intelligence (AI) system designed to enhance the learning experience and student services. This innovation is designed to optimize academic advising and provide more efficient support for students. The launch of AI Copter marked a significant milestone in Thailand’s education sector, showcasing MUIC’s commitment to integrating AI technology into academic services to improve learning outcomes. The unveiling ceremony was attended by Mahidol University executives, distinguished guests, and members of the media.
The 39th Anniversary of the establishment MUIC reflects the progress of Mahidol University International College in advancing knowledge and modern innovations to adapt to the evolving digital era, as a leading international educational institution committed to continuously developing the potential of students and staff.
