On June 10, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Poolsuk Janepanish Visudtibhan, Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, presided over the ceremony to welcome Dr. Heike Roth, a Course Director of the Bachelor of Midwifery and 13 Midwifery students from University of Technology Sydney, Australia for a study visit under the student exchange program from June 10 to 21, 2024.
On this occasion, the ceremony was honored by Assistant Professor Suchin Worawichawong, M.D., Deputy Dean for International Relations, who gave a welcome speech on behalf of the Dean of Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University.
Instructor Dr. Jiraporn Lininger, Deputy Director for International Relations and Program Chair for the Master of Nursing Science Program (International Program), Associate Professor Dr. Srisamorn Phumonsakul, Chair of the Division of Maternal Newborn Nursing and Midwifery, along with nursing instructors from the Division of Maternal Newborn Nursing and Midwifery, Ramathibodi School of Nursing, also welcomed the attendees.
The objectives of the study visit are to learn about Thailand’s nursing system, midwifery, and healthcare system. Additionally, the visit aims to facilitate cultural exchange between the two institutions.
