On March 7, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Suchira Chaiviboontham, Deputy Director for Administration of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, and Dr. Rungarun Gaesawahong, RN, Nursing Director of Thainakarin Hospital, presided over the opening speech at the online academic conference titled “The Scientific Landscape of Breast Cancer: Ramathibodi School of Nursing and Thainakarin Hospital Breast Cancer Conference” which held from March 7 to 8, 2024.
Faculty members from Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, along with external luminaries, were invited as speakers to share their knowledge and exchange information on the development and increase of modern knowledge from empirical evidence and research, including the role and potential of nursing personnel, specialized skills required for providing effective care for breast cancer patients both physically and mentally.
At the event, registered nurses, advanced practice nurses, and nurse educators from Thailand’s public and private sectors participated in the conference.
