“The Summer Program at Osaka University 2024”
The Master of Nursing Science Program students from Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, participated in “The Summer Program at Osaka University 2024” under the theme “Long–term Care System & Scientific Technology in Japanese Aging Society” at Osaka University in Japan from July 15 to 26, 2024.
Students who participated in the program were as listed below:
1) Ms. Rattanaporn A–laidee, RN, from the Master of Nursing Science Program (International Program)
2) Ms. Sukumal Kaitongsuk, RN, from the Master of Nursing Science Program (International Program)
3) Ms. Krittiya Chuathong from the Master of Nursing Science Program (Adult and Gerontological Nursing)
4) Mr. Iyawit Chongkhlai from the Master of Nursing Science Program (Community Nurse Practitioner)
On this occasion, Professor Takayuki Ishida, Dean of the School of Allied Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, and the Division of Health Sciences of the Graduate School of Medicine, Osaka University, Professor Mai Kababayama, Chair of International Affairs, and Professor Yasushi Takeya, Chair of Gerontological and Geriatric Nursing from Osaka University, gave a warm welcome to all participants.
Furthermore, Emeritus Professor Kiyoko Makimoto, RN, PhD, delivered a lecture on “Medical Care Insurance among Older People and Long–term Care Insurance System in Japan,” and Hiroshi Ueda, MPH, PhD, lectured on “Gerontology in Super–Aged Society, Japan.”
The program aims to study the fundamentals of LTC care and scientific technology in Japan’s rapidly aging society.
