Associate Professor Dr. Poolsuk Janepanish Visudtibhan, Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, along with Dr. Sirinan Prakot, an instructor from the Division of Adult and Gerontological Nursing, participated in the “Regional Capacity Building Workshop for WHO Implementing Partners on Preventing and Responding to Sexual Misconduct (PRS)” hosted by World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office for South-East Asia from December 17 to 19, 2024, in Kathmandu, Nepal.
During the event, Associate Professor Dr. Poolsuk Janepanish Visudtibhan, Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, also met with alumni who graduated from Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University.
The objectives of the workshop were to improve understanding of sexual misconduct and related concepts to better identify and respond to sexually abusive behaviors, to deepen knowledge of the UN Implementing Partners’ Self-Assessment Tool on PRS and the use of UN Partners’ Portal (UNPP), including to facilitate the sharing of emerging good practices and cross learning among country offices and develop timebound action plans.
The event took place at the Girasol Banquet Hall, The Hilton Kathmandu, Nepal.
