On September 3, 2024, Professor Sasisopin Kiertiburanakul, M.D., Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Culture, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, presided over the ceremony, lit incense sticks and candles to worship the Triple Gem, and lit the chapter candle, along with Associate Professor Dr. Poolsuk Janepanish Visudtibhan, Director of RamathibodiSchool of Nursing, hosted the third chapter, and Associate Professor Jumroon Tungkeeratichai,M.D., Chair of Ramathibodi Senate, said the report and hosted the thirteenth chapter.
Assistant Professor Pichaya Thongpo, President of Rama Nurse Alumni, lit the chapter candle and hosted the fifth chapter. Associate Professor Dr. Bualuang Sumdaengrit, Instructor from the Division of Adult and Gerontological Nursing, and Associate Professor Dr. Srisamorn Phumonsakul,Chair, Division of Maternal Newborn Nursing and Midwifery, and her family lit the chapter candle. They hosted in the ninth chapter, preached by PhraKru Vinaitorn Kittisak and Assistant Abbot from Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimon MangkhalaramRajwaramahawihan and the monastic order.
The administrative members, faculty members, students, and personnel of Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, as well as the public, participated in and co-hosted the MahajatiPreaching, thirteen chapters of Mahavessantarajataka, thousand verses.
The event was organized to raise funds for the renovation project of the Ramathibodi School of Nursing at Salaya Campus. The aim is to create a modern and safe educational institution that promotes learning and integrates education, research, and nursing practice to produce the nurses of the future for society.
