Associate Professor Dr. Poolsuk Janepanish Visudtibhan, Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, participated as a representative of the Nursing Program to follow up on the work progress of the former trainees in the Training Program in Technology of Medicine and Public Health for Health Personnel from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Initiated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhornin the Lao People’s Democratic Republic from November 4 to 8, 2024.
On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Poolsuk Janepanish Visudtibhan, visited various locations and met with the former trainees in different departments, including Xiangkhouang Provincial Hospital; Xiangkhouang Public Health School; MuangMoc Community Hospital; Muang Kham Community Hospital in XiangkhouangProvince; Khammouane Provincial Hospital and Khammouane Public Health School in Thakhek, Khammouane Province; and the University of Health Sciences in Vientiane.
The objectives of the visit were to follow up and assess the outcomes of the training program, as well as to study the context and gather comprehensive data on the medical and public health systems of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. The insights gained will be used to improve the Training Program in Technology of Medicine and Public Health for health personnel from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, initiated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
