On 24th – 27th June 2024, Asst. Prof. Thatchavee Leelawat, Ph.D., Vice President for Information Technology and Kanchanaburi Campus, Mahidol University, attended the Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2024, under the theme “Next Frontiers for Growth”. In this regard, Mr. Li Qiang, Premier of the People’s Republic of China, State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Andrzej Duda, President of Poland, Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, and Ms. Amina J. Mohammed, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, delivered welcome speeches to over 1,600 participants from around the world gathered at the conference in Dalian, People’s Republic of China. The participants included high-level leaders and representatives from government sectors, business sectors, civil society, and international organizations.
On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Thatchavee Leelawat, Ph.D., Vice President for Information Technology and Kanchanaburi Campus, Mahidol University, participated in a panel discussion titled “Future Talent: Digital Intelligence Reshaping Higher Education” with the representatives from networking partners of the Digital Intelligence International Development Education Alliance (DI-IDEA), facilitated by Prof. Zhang Ying, Peking University, People’s Republic of China. The discussion aimed to exchange knowledge on preparing and adapting higher education institutions to meet challenges in the digital era.
